View from the room
Woke up at about 8am for buffet breakfast..
This was followed by a trip to the spa facilities of the resort..it's a combination between swimming pools, foot spa, jacuzzi, jasmine bath, sauna facilities..my 1st try!

it was rather relaxing and horrendously atsui あつい in the sauna room at 80C..cant take it at all after 5mins..it was an experience..they have outdoor baths as well..quite nice to have a relaxed time in the warm bath but in cooling weather いいですよ!

our next stop is to have lunch at somewhere nearing Mount Sorak. The lunch consists of a huge steamboat with fresh seafood and little korean delights. The advantage of going for a tour is u get to eat a lot. The disadvantage is u will end up growing fat!

We made our way to Mount Sorak thereafter. It was Labour Day on the day we went. Mt. Sorak was filled with people. The scenery was spectacular. But I somehow wished i was there during autumn or winter times. The sights I saw there resembled the mountains in Taiwan. Hence, it doesnt leave a very huge impact on me when I left. Due to time constraints, we also didnt get to climb the mountain all the way to the top to see the scenery. Just stopped by, took some pics of the mountains ard and a little waterfall.Mt Sorak is a place for skiing during winter. I bet it will also be very romantic in the autumn. Will plan to go Korea again during those seasons including a trip to Jeju Island.

And so at Mount Sorak, here are the scenic pics taken..

There's also a temple within Mount Sorak with a huge Buddha statue. We took a cable car further up. Weather was pretty good.and duno why..somehow at that tme i was thinking how nice if i was at Japan that time..hehe..I prefer Mount Fuji keke

After Mount Sorak, we made our way to a nearby fishing port.Is like a wet market, selling different kinds of seafood..freshly prepared once you made your choices..and also many dried food products available for sales..I think is ard the 东海 area..

Traditional Rice cakes

Then...we made our way to a little town called Suanbo. Along the way, we stopped by and purchased this crackers that I happily brought home as a souvenir hehe...

Yet another 2hrs ride en route to this place. This place is famous for its hot springs too. and we had the most yummilicious strawberries over there. I still missed the taste of it. It just melts in your mouth. That time was strawberries season! A big group of us bought a box of strawberries to share and eat..but we still haven had enough..so we quickly go purchase one more box to savour before ending our day with some Korean news on H1N1 updates..hehe

Looks a bit like in Little India ;)
